I've used a lot of Brother lasers over the years, and overall they're pretty
good printers. Brother's real business is in the printer internals (the
whole print engines along with drums, fusers, toners, etc.) Some HP
printers were basically a Brother with an HP badge. The newer Brothers that
you're probably talking about are aimed more at the home user, which makes
them inherently crappy. To answer the question any better I'd need to know
what Brother laser you're talking about, and what you want to use it for.

took over and started gutting the company. I stay at least 10 feet
away from any HP product these days. Absolute crap.

I plan to buy a Brother 5060 N Laser Printer
all I need is Network ready and we have about 10 users
normal volume of printing for office
