Hi,
I am kinda new to this so bear with me.
I am looking to up grade to a B&W laser printer.
I have a desk top computer and a laptop (both macs).
I am currently looking at the brother HL 5250 printer. I am not sure
how good brother is. My other choice is HP p2015DN,
I am very familar with HP as we use them at work. My biggest
items is the printer has to be networkable.
I dont do alot of printing, however I want to be able to do it
from the laptop (wireless) My wife is a teacher so she may stick with
the epson inkjet for overlays (color), as well as using the laser for
any papers she does. All help appreciated.
Thanks.

Stick with the HP. Since you are familair with them at work this will
be handy at home.

I have multiple computers and simply use an automatic printer switch
for the one HPIIID printer. We have been using the switch for over 15
years and all I do is look and see if it is there at least once a
year. Been there everytime. Newer printers are USB and easily
networked or whatever.

The Brother products I have used ... not the one you are inquiring about
.... have been excellent.

I saw your message a bit late, so I don't know this will help, but I've
had the Brother HL5250 since the beginning of 2007, and am very happy
with it. It's fast, the print quality is excellent, and the automatic
duplexing has worked flawlessly. If it's your choice, I think you'll
like it.
