Brother HL Printer with XP problem

My Brother HL 1440 laser doesn't have enough memory to print large
documents. Out of 5 pages, only the first 2 will print. Back in the days of
DOS, I could create a print spooler on the hard drive that would feed data
to the printer as the printer was ready to accept it. Is there a way to do
this with Win XP so it'll print large documents?

Have you tried not spooling the print job, checking the
seeting to see if its set to spool. Spooling takes memory
it takes all the data and store it. if you print the
document immeditaly it should print the entire document

Where does XP hide the printer settings? I can't find any spool setting
within the Brother software.

Go to the Printers folder. Right click the printer, choose properties.
The spooling setting is on one of the tabs in that dialog box.

On my HL 1440, the spool setting is a check box under the
Properties/Advanced Tab. This might differ from driver to driver I
guess.

Whoops! I should have said 'buttons' not 'check box.'
