Broken Windows

Any help appreciated. I have freshly installed Win XP Pro onto a 40 G
hard disk, gone through all the correct procedures and everythin
seems to be fine until xp has finished installing.The computer boot
up and gets to the windows is now loading screen with the small ba
at bottom then the thing just freezes and the bar stops in mid strea
and I have to manually switch off computer.I have trid re installin
several times but always the same problem
Please help this is doing my nut in. :cry

First of all address the reason why you had to re install XP, were
you having stability issues ?.
Without any real info from you regarding this, probably you have a
hardware problem here, do some diagnostics,
start by testing the HDD, RAM, power supply and try a different
graphics card.
