Broken web page opening

On Windows XP SP2 after some time i got problem with webpage opening
I tried IE and OPERA, almost every page (except very simple) start
opening then "hangs up" - it doesnt open compleatly. It'
could be openend several times by pressing stop after some tim
refresh
I believe that problem is in http connections which should be close
then initiate again, so to download whole webpage each object shoul
be downloaded in new connection
I tried: reinstall NIC drivers, reset winsock setting, tweak registr
settings for network such as MTU etc. There is no Effect. Even the
only network User application that is started is opera and/or IE
BTW FTP, DC++ works fine. Firewall is configured correctly, as it
tested with another computer.(simply blocks some ports - microsof
related to protect shares etc.)
Could any one help me to solve this problem or any idea that exactl
happend

What is the malware/virus status of the computer? If you think it is
clean, what programs (including versions) did you use to determine
this? Make sure:

I Checked all services adn system processes, also dll's (basically
with service view and dependency walker).
Also checked system original files with SFC. So registry also is clean
from malware, etc. I have win XP SP2, opera, code blocks and dev-c++
(both for software development).
there is also installed XP tweaker RE 1.50 (i used to easyly set up
auto log on, disable themes, messenger, nothing related to network)
(as i wrote, i turned winsock to it's default state - in case
something got wrong). Maybe this problem is in http client
settings.(there was automatic windows updates working.).

Problem solved!!
As backend firewall was used ATGuard v.3.2
Where is conflict in windows XP and AtGuard (http replies ar
incorrectly processed. ). This relies only to windows XP (in win 200
as well to all others workstations from M$ everything works fine
except this bullshit)
Thanks to anyone who tried to help me, at least readed this post
