Broken tcp ip stack

Hi, I know that Microsoft has a tool to fix a corrupted tcp ip stack. I
can't seem to find it anywhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank you very much.

Because you Properties shows that you are running version 6.00.2800.1106 when the up to date version should be
version 6.00.2900.2527. You are missing some critical Security Updates

That's interesting !, this machine here [OEM XP Home] show version
6.00.2900.2180.
Checking with the Update Centre scan says no updates available.
Automatic updates is turned off by preference.

There's a non-critical OE patch, LR. Go to Windows Update > Custom > In
left pane, select Install Optional Software Updates > 887797.
