Broken program links

I had to move some of my programs to a new directory, but now I can't open
them. I would assume its a broken link to the program, but don't know for
sure.

How do I correct this? I don't want a shortcut to my desktop because I have
enough stuff on it as it is. But I would like to open them in Start/ All
Programs.

How do I do this, please?

Right click the old shortcut(s) on the Start Menu | Properties |
Shortcut tab | Change the Target so that it points to the new location.

Target
[[Specifies the name of the item that this shortcut points to, and provides
a space for you to type in a different item. A shortcut can point to many
types of items, such as a file, a folder, part of a document, a printer, or
a computer on your network.]]

You can't simply move programs to a new directory. Restore everything to
their original directories, then uninstall the program and restart your
computer. Now reinstall the programs to the directory of your choice.
