Broken memory??

The machine shuts down in about every 2- 3 hours when connected t
internet. The connection is HomePna broad band connection

The Windows mem test shows a failure in "stride 6" on my mahcine

When I test the same memory in another machine the mem test cannot find any problem

If I test another memory on my own machine then again the same failure comes up

It looks like there is something wrong somewhere else and not memory itself
Changing of HPna card does not make any difference

Windows XP Home and 512 MB ram.

What should I try next? Any help would be appreciated.
 
Go to System Properties / Advanced / Startup and Recovery. Uncheck auto
startup. If your computer is shutting down , this should give you a error
code that will help troubleshoot your present problem. Repost with error
information if more assistance is needed. Jym
