Broken links between journal entries and contacts

After reinstalling O98, I restored the data to the new setup via use of the
old .pst file.

When I open the Journals folder, they are all there. However, when I view
the Journal tab of each contact there are no journal entries to be found
there.

How can I get the journal entries linked again to their related contacts? I
have several hundred contacts, and an equal number of journal entries.

How did you restore the data? In you imported, then you're the one who
destroyed the links. Never import. Just reuse your old PST with
File>Open>Personal Folders File and then make it your default deliver
location (Select the PST, click FIle>Properties>Delivery new mail) for IMO
mode and Tools>Services>Personal Folders>Delivery (if I recall correctly)
for CW mode).
