broken headphone jack

The headphone jack on my Toshiba Satellite 2410 is broken. I run Windows XP
sp1. Is there any way to redirect audio output from the headphone jack to the
microphone output jack? I am hoping there is a software method to do this as
I do not feel like soldering in a new headphone jack.

You would do better with a USB solution OR better still,
have Toshiba fix it or somebody who will guarantee their
work, very easy to toast the mobo unless you are good at PCB
soldering.

Hi,

No, there isn't. You will have to have it repaired.
