Broken CD drive?

I have an HP media center PC, and recently both cd drives have stopped
reading cds, both burned and store bought completely. I don't know what to
do..

Any ideas?

You can either,open device mgr,locate the cd drive,R.click on
it,select:uninstall
Then close out,shutdown computer,xp will reinstall on restart.The other,power
off computer,move the cd drive to another IDE connection (set jumper pins
properly to it,and other drive that shares the cable),power up,xp will
reinstall
