Broadband Usage Monitor

I have just downloaded Tautology Bandwidth Meter but not sure how it works.When I click on start followed by all programs it is not listed but it did create a desktop icon.When I click on the icon I get the following message
Only one instance may be active at a time (Per installed copy of the program)Can someone advise
