Broadband on XP

I have XP-SP2 running fine except for the broadband connection. The
connection starts when the computer starts up but when I start Outlook
Express it tries to connect again and when I cancel the connection window
the broadband connection has broken.

Is there something in Outlook Express that needs to be changed?

This problem doesn't happen with Internet Explorer, only Outlook Express.

Hi Malcolm,
Not absolutely sure on this....
But it might be worth looking at the tools>>options>>general tab in Outlook
Express.
There is a setting on there about connecting. Also worth checking the
settings on the connections tab.
If, as you say, IE works OK, then it does sound like something simple within
OE.
Good luck with it anyway - I know how annoying these things can be!
Kind regards,
Mike
