I used to have a dial up internet connection between my win 98 (slave) pc and
my xp(host) pc with few problems. Since changing to broadband on the xp I
cannot get the win98 pc to connect to the internet. Any help would be
appreciated!

The easiest and quickest way to deal with this is to buy a cable/dsl
router. They are inexpensive and simple to set up. You will
uninstall/disable any ICS connection you previously had on your
computers. If you already bought a router and are having problems, it
is probably because you forgot to remove ICS.

I am supposing you used ICS to send the internet connection from XP to 98.
Make sure you have SP1 (at least) installed on the XP machine because there
is a known problem with PPPOE (dsl connections) and ICS on the original
version of XP (with no service pack).
