Due to items beyond my control I must break a MS 2000 Cluster. I need to keep one of the boxes running and providing services that the cluster previously provided. My question is this:

Can I remove the cluster service from both computers, then on the computer that will remain rename it to the former name provided by the cluster and NOT have to reinstall the OS/applications/etc?

Thanks

Robert

You will likely need to re-install or re-configure your applications in some
manner in order to get them to work properly. Good luck!
