cluster restore

I am testing my disaster recovery plan for our clusters.
The test assumes that both nodes of the cluster are gone. Backup tapes are avaialble for restore. We will bring one node of the cluster up and run the cluster on one node on to different hardware. The cluster also runs SQL.
The steps I have taken thus far
OS rebuil
SP installe
Disk layout exactly the same as original cluster drives (minus signature
uninstall NICs and Video
Restore system state
reboo
uninstall NICs again - tcpip configuration hosed - reload and reconfigur
reboo
reset NIC propertie
uninstall Cluster servic
reinstall S
reinstall cluste
cluster running (net start clussvc /fix quorum
SQL not startin
SQL Will not uninstall - not listed in Add/Remove progra
SQL will not re-install - error regarding an instance is already installed...

WHAT now?

Our DR plan would be to rebuild the servers with the same names, IP's,
config, etc, re-install clustering, re-install SQL, then restore the
data from backups. We rarely attempt to restore full systems and a
cluster seems even more of a challenge.

I agree with David, My company uses a product called
Double-Take for DR purposes. Double-Take allows automatic
replications.
