I also continue to get notifications that I exceed my quota - which appears
to be 10,240,000 bytes. I have repeatedly emptied all my folders. First
question: Where do I go to determine how bytes are being used by each folder
and 2nd Q: Is there a setting I can access to increase my allowable byte
quota?

Dear garygobears,

In Outlook -> Tools \ Mailbox Cleanup \ View folder size

The quota setting is set by your domain administraor (If you are in a
domain). That size is very low - ask for an increase - it never hurts
to ask.

Hope that helps.

The while-you-were-out message program you have been looking for!

Thank you for your response; however, this is a single user computer - at
home and there is NO "Mailbox Clean up option in tools. Where else can I go
to find this "clean up" function? And any other recs for enlarging byte
capacity?

OK, so, I'll take a guess that those notifications are not coming from
your PC, rather, maybe your ISP is sending them?
We really need more info in order to help you. Is this Outlook that
you are running? You need to check that read email is deleted from
your ISP's server. That is a settin in Outlook.

That's about all I can suggest right now without knowing more.

Cheers,

I wish I knew where these notifications are coming from. Monday I will call
Time Warner and ask them if they are the culprits. I am running "Outlook".
How do I get to the "setting" in Outlook that will allow me to check "the
read email is deleted from ISP server?

Could you copy/paste in the exact error?
If you go to Help-About, what version of Outlook?
What version of Windows?
If you go to TimeWarner's web based email provider
(http://webmail.roadrunner.com should be the address), do you see all your
mail there?

I am gonna cut and paste my millionth bounced notification as well, maybe
it'll help you see my issues here. ooooh I am so mad.

The following is the reason that the message was over quota:

Quota Type: bytes in the mailbox
Quota Available: 0
Total Quota: 25600000

The following is the information on the message that was bounced:

I have nothing in my inbox or any of the others either.
