Hi group,

Long time reader, 1st time poster.<< Well almost
Hey, when I load a fresh install on a system, and it boots up for the 1st
time, the Windows XP logo is nice and tight with an obvious higher
resolution. BUT when the actual install is complete and boots for the final
process of installation, the resolution seems to be like 640X480 or
possibly 800X600. How can I switch the resolution to the higher mode on
boot up? It just looks so much nicer!

TIA,

Doug

Sorry group, I posted in another group too, made a mistake, but any help
is still appreciated!

Visit the support website of the manufacturer of your video card or
video card adapter, search for the latest Windows XP compatible
drivers, download and install them.

If you have a notebook computer, visit the website of the manufacturer
of your notebook computer to obtain the video adapter drivers.

Then right-click on your Desktop and select:
Properties > Setting and adjust your Screen Resolution
settings, then select "Highest (32 bit) Color Quality setting,
and click "apply".
