Booting in new computer

I installed the full version of Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition onto a
computer without windows. I was able to instal Windows but to boot up I must
have the Windows CD in the drive. What can I do to fix this issue?

check the bios to be sure that booting from the HD is enabled
