Booting a SDI file on USB

Hi All,

I'm a bit new to all the XPe and SDI environment's but I search since
a while and I didn't find a good manual or instruction that would tell
me that to do.

I want to do 2 things

1- I got a SDI file that is bootable on a normal harddrive and I want
to boot this SDI on my USB key.
I format my USB key in FAT32 and then put the SDI image on it but
it won't boot. I don't really know which step I should fallow for
this.

2- I got a SDI file that isn't bootable and I would like to use it as
a bootable SDI for my USB key. I don't know if there is any other step
that I should fallow :\

If anyone could give me a link to some manual or instruction to how to
boot a SDI file from a USB key. I would really appreciate.

Thanks,

I'm lost at nearly the begining.

I can't perform this point.
It's not that I can't do the FBA but I can't do it from PXE or USB as
my dev Computer doesn'T support both.

1.1.2. Perform FBA boot

Boot a Network Sentry platform into a RAMDISK image using either a USB
key or PXE boot.

I also can't format my Flash USB. It is a 1GB key and will soon be
changed to a 8GB.

Mostly what I would like is to know what to do from this place:
I currently have 1 SDI file that contain each components that Desi did
listed.
From there, I would dlike to know which step left to be able to have
my USB bootable with this SDI file.

I will inspect more my SDI file and see if I can get something better
to explain wha tI currently got.

Thanks,
