I have a fully configured XPE image that I have cloned.
Disabled hibernation before so as to to minimize image size.

I now want to deploy using
SDI technology.

SDI2HD documentation says the image has to be no greater than 2G.

Q0. Does SDI2HD run under DOS?

Q1 Is that limitation true and is it only a limitation for that ap.?

Q2 ie. Can sdi images be larger than 2G?
I was able to create one using the image as above so I guessthe answer IS yes.

Q3. How can I mount an sdi file under DOS or PXE (XPE CD1) so as to image a
target drive, or directly extract its contents?

Thx

SDI2HD is the DOS utility for use with SDI files. There is a limitation to
2GB. The alternative is to use WinPE and sdimgr.wsf to deploy larger SDI
files.

The last alternative is to use imagex.exe and WIM files.

Is there a way to use sdimgr.wsf with the PXE boot you get from XPE CD1?
Thx again.
