This is probably a stupid question but I have an older
Toshiba laptop with windows ME. It stopped working and I
got a new HP desktop computer with windows XP. My brother
wants the old one but the windows ME won't boot and I no
longer can find the disks I had to boot it with. Can I use
the backup disks for the windows XP to erase and/or boot
the windows ME on the Toshiba ? Or is there a way to do it
without a recovery disk ? Thanks !!
Fred

No, Windows XP backup disks cannot be used to boot-up a
non-bootable PC with Windows ME installed.
