Booted offline when sending email

Every time I click on send in my outlook express I
automatically go offline. The box comes up right away to
click on to reconnect, and immediately after I connect
whatever I was sending automatically gets sent. I have
no trouble receiving, just sending. It isn't
in "tools/options/connection tab", my "Hang up after
sending and receiving" is not checked off. That is not
the problem. I really would like this solved as I'm on
dialup and it takes forever to keep going back online
every few minutes while I work. Thank you for any help
you can give me.

Check your settings in OE Tools>Accounts>[mail account]>Servers>Always
connect using...
