boot up problem

my sister has this problem, when she trys to boot up windows the computer shuts down? it wont let her finish installing windows. can somebody help,please i think she is going nuts! thanks

Hi,

Is she in the process of installing WindowsXP, or is it a previously
completed installation that will not fully load, but was working before?
Does she have a broadband connection, and is it currently attached?

hi, yes it worked before , and she cant finish instalation. no she doesn't have broadband. thanks

Hi,

Can't finish what installation? Is she reinstalling Windows? An update? Some
other software? Has she tried loading in Safe mode? Specifics are sorely
needed here for any meaningful assistance.
