boot up (msconfig)

please can anyone help me my son has played with msconfig to play a game he
was instructed by the games help line. now when i boot up i cannot get
application manager to work how do i put this right

Suggestions:
a) Ask your son what changes were made.
b) From Start menu, select RUN, then run MSCONFIG

On the General Tab, instead of Selective Startup, select Normal startup.

I'm not sure what your "application manager" is.
