Boot taking 5 minutes after a clean install XP Pro

I have a HP d530 Pentium 4 with 2-512ddr

After installing SP2 I no longer had a system restore tab in system
properties so I saved my data and did a restore with resore cd that came
with it.

It now takes forever to boot up what can I do?

Just did a Repair and it fix the problem.
I rember when it came it did the same untill I reinsalled
