Boot sequence cycles

Booting XP sp2, The Windows logo starts for a few seconds, then a blue
error screen flashes and reverts to the start up menu that selects Safe
Mode, Safe with Prompt, Last config etc.
Nothing works, each time it boots to the logo for a few seconds and
then the blue screen which flashes and is unable to be read. I feel I
may have ran low on disk space but can't understand why this failure. I
will be happy to boot to dos prompt and copy off a few files. Any
suggestion please.

You can either boot with a Bart's PE and remove data that way or you can
remove the hard drive and slave it in a working pc and remove the data
that way. This assumes that the problem is because of the low disk
space, but there really isn't any way for us to know since you didn't
tell us anything about the machine, including the size of the hard
drive and how full you think it is.

Making and using a Bart's - as well as slaving the hard drive - requires
that you have another computer and some amount of computer skills. You
know your skill level best; if you will have difficulty in doing this
take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local
version of BigStoreUSA).
