Boot Process

Hello All,

I am working on OS. I want few details on how this OS works when we
switch it ON.
Like as far as I know when system boots it loads few drivers, starts
few services. In other words we can say "OS initialization " happens.

I just want to know is there any tool or any method which records all
the process that happens during booting and in what sequence it happens
and also the time taken by each driver to load...

If by OS you mean "XP Embedded", you may want to try Microsoft BootVis tool.
Search Google to find the tool downloads.
