I am looking for info on the windows boot process. What I
am looking for is exactly what happens from when the power
is switched on to when the O/S is loaded. The reason I am
looking for this info is that I am trying to find out out
how various boot loaders work including the ntldr. If I
can find out the order in which files are read and the
sequence things take place it might help me understand how
deviations from this occur when an external boot loader is
used. I have searched the knowledge base but am not
getting the detail I am looking for. Does anyone have any
info that might point me in the right direction.... any
help would be most appreciated. Thanks
