Hi folks,

I seem to have a problem booting my system in XP Home when there is a USB device attached (and active). The system will hang shortly after the CPU Health test. When there are no USB devices attached, the system boots normally, then the device can be connected and operated normally.

Any ideas as to how to fix the problem?

Thanks.

Carl

Thats the exact same problem I am experiencing at the
moment. Someone suggested that you make sure all USB
ports are enabled in the system setup before booting into
XP. It never worked for me, but you never know.
