Boot Problems AFTER Repair

Hi I had a problem with the OS and repaired succesfully(?) WIN XP using the
CD Installation disc. Now my computer will not Boot up in Win XP. It gets to
the Windows Home page and reboots. It will not enter Safemode either. The
disc checks out ok and the same problem appears in another computer using the
same disc, and in the other computer you can see all files except where the
security was at the Administrator level.
Win XP says there isn't a problem with the disc so please can somebody tell
me why it will not boot up correctly?

Tried that but although it showed errors were repaired it still didn't work.
Came to the Windows Home screen 10msec and rebooted. I went into SAFEMODE but
could not turn off the "Reboot on errors" that people talk about. How do you
turn this off using the XP CD or F8?
Very **** will FIXMBR cause problems? I have "repaired" win xp several times
now also and still keeps reseting. I have also loaded the Maxtor Diagnostics
no problems. Its a mystery!
Any other suggestions please?
