Boot Partition w/vNTFS cluster size larger than 4K? Help! :-)

In the spirit of knowing just little enough to be wildly dangerous, it is my
understanding that XP could not have its NTFSbboot partition with a cluster
size of greater than 4k, even though other partitions could have their
cluster size up to 64K.

Now we have our new friend Vista, with a slightly different NTFS (or so I
have read). My questions are:

1) Can the cluster size be larger for booting Vista?
2) Since Vista installs with a 4K cluster size, how can I increase the size
after the fact?
3) Since I can't seem to find a third-party tool for partition management
that is fully Vista-compliant yet, does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you for reading this and sharing your insights! :)

Hi Scott,

No idea, haven't tried it or read anything on it. I highly doubt that it
would have changed though.
2) Since Vista installs with a 4K cluster size, how can I increase the
size
after the fact?

Third-party product.
3) Since I can't seem to find a third-party tool for partition management
that is fully Vista-compliant yet, does anyone have any suggestions?

BootIT NG works outside of the OS from its own embrl volume when installed
properly. I used it throughout the Vista beta without any issues whatsoever.
