Recently I took a Windows 98 partition off a dual boot (Win 2k and Win 98) computer. Since then I have not been able to regularly boot the computer, I have tried using the fixboot command from repair console, without any succes. The only way I have been able to boot the system is with a Windows 2000 floppy boot disk. I really need an suggestions anyone can provide, mostly becauase this is my parents computer and its files are very important

Please describe the partition details before and after.

What, exactly, do you mean by "Recently I took a Windows 98 partition off a
dual boot (Win 2k and Win 98) computer."

How did you "take the partition off"?

We need details.
