Boot from USB Stick?

Hi NG!

Is it possible to from an USB 2.0 Stick(256MB)?
How can I create a boot sector on the USB Stick?

Werner,

It is possible.

Boot sector is placed by format from Windows XP. But depending on BIOS and
some weird geometry problem. It won't boot on any computer (special tweaks
to BPB must be done).

Since I was asked not to provide solution to this to public, you can search
this NG using google groups for info I posted so far on this problem. It's
not enough but should help you if you choose to make it work.


As alternative to this:
You can make RAM boot solution.
And boot from SDI file. This way you won't depend on USB support from XPe.
