WES: USB Stick prevents system from entering hibernation

Andreas Aegerter

Hi

If I try to enter Hibernation on my Windows Embedded Standard System with a connected USB Stick, I will get a message, that the USB Stick does prevent the system from entering Hibernation.

On the same Hardware but with XP Professional SP3 it will work like expected.

The WES Image is builded with Sean's "Full XP Pro WES2009" Component and the USB Stick property is set for Quick Removal...

Any ideas what will cause this issue?

Thank's for your help!

Best regards, Andreas

Hi Sean

Hibernation is enabled and works fine, if the USB Stick is not connected... but with USB Stick it is not possible to enter Hibernation.

Regards, Andreas
