Boot Failure

My XP Pro crashed. Now I have a boot failure. Can't boot from the floppy drive or cd rom. I've download the boot program that took 6 floppies and that didn't work. I want to format and start again. Can anyone help?

Not to sound simple, but do you have the CD rom set to be first boot
selection, AND have you quickly "Pressed any key" immediately during the
"Short" time you have at boot?

Um, dumb question:

You said you can't boot the installation, and you can't boot from floppy or
CD - how did you propose to access the system to do anything?

You would first need to address why you cannot boot from floppy or CD before
you can attempt to fix the system.
