Boot Embededded from a CD ? no hard disc system

Hello people,

it is possible with Windows xp Embededded version to be boot from a CD p

This is what i whant to do:
Start(boot) a little system and stock it completly in RAM , lauch one
software (stock in ram to)
and after this cut the harddisc so live the all system in ram

This is possible with Embededded ?

Hi,

Yes it is possible and you have two possibilities.

1. Read and use El-torito option that allow you CD-boot.
2. Use RAM boot from SDI file. (you can use this from any medium and them
remove medium if you want).

So it looks like you want to boot from SDI file.
