El Torito Bootable CD

I try to create a Bootable CD with to El Torito Support component but on
each boot, I received this message:
Boot from CD:
1. HD System Type-(06)
Error Loading Operating System

I follow 2 differents procedure to create my bootable CD but the result
is always the same.

I created the preFBA CD, after FBA process is finished, I run ewfmgr command

Type : RAM
State : DISABLE
....

I executed etprep /all. I make the new iso file with hd2iso.exe
utility, i wrote the postFBA CD.

Where is the problem ?

Hi Fred,

There are 2 things you need to notice while building El Torito CD:

1. You need to use NT Loader instead of EWF NTLDR

2. Delete values in the following key

HKLM\SYSTEM\MountedDevices

What is your motherboard?

I have had exactly that error with a motherboard that did not support
El Torito. The supplier needed to add support to the BIOS for us.
