book keeping back up problem

I try to create a backup of my data files through an
accounting program one write plus. If I attempt to back
up to my cd/dvd-rw drive I get an error message that it
can not, that it may be a cd-rom. This drive does show up
as a cd-rom under properties. Is there something I can
change to correct this?

This is an issue with the accounting program, not Windows XP. Contact
One Write Plus's tech support for help. It may be older and simply not
have cd-rw support written into the code.
