lock up during boot up. i switched back to my original configuration of "c"
drive = 30 Gb fat 32 "d" drive = 100Gb ntfs . i am trying to replace drive
"c" which is my boot drive.

Probably not in a .NET programming discussion group, but you can find an
appropriate Windows group this way.

As you appear to be using a web interface, start here:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx

In the tree on the left, first open the English category, then open Windows.
In Windows, find and open the category for your version of Windows.
There, you'll find a group to post your question.

However as you right click on the time, you can see the date, be aware that
the datetime is showed in your local representation, which is in most parts
of the world day-month-year, secondly year-month-day.

Hit the pause key while the opening boot screen is visible. It should show
you the BIOS version.
