After 5-10 minutes of being on my computer slows to a
crawl and constant churning begins.....anyone els
experiencing this?

a couple things to do: scan for viruses, trojans, adware, spyware, any
other nasties... look in task manager to see what process is taking up the
cpu time. make sure you have a firewall up.
