Bmp & Status bar

A couple of small anoyances on Internet Explorer 6

Each time I save a picture as from IE6 it will only save in BMP mode,
I have to change it to jpg when I want to post it elsewhere, It never
used to do this. Ive checke IE6 tools etc and can't see the answer.

Also the Status bar, each time a page loads I have to start the status
bar manually. How can I get them back to how they were.

To reenable the jpg choice you'll have to delete your temporary internet
files.
