Bluish tint on inkjet printer

10 days ago I installed a new cartridge for an HP inket. It seemed to
work okay. Today I printed a page and the top half of the image had a
blue or purplish tint but the bottom half was normal.

I wasn't sure what to do so I simply printed the same page again, and
it was normal. What do you think happened?

If you didn't print since you installed it, I would simply assume that
there was a very minor clog or some paper residue/dust in the yellow
printhead that was cleared out midway though the printing. I wouldn't
worry about it unless it keeps happening.

Just a guess, but it probably means your yellow ink head was temporarily
clogged or the contacts were not connecting properly.
