bluetooth visability problems

i have recently purchased a bluetooth phone and also a "bluesoleil" usb post
for my pc.I am running windows xp home. my problem is the bluesoleil program
can find my phone but when i try to use either my bluetooth device wizard or
the nokia pc suite that came with the phone i get the message "cannot use
conection type". are there any firewall or sercurity settings i need to
adjust? i just find it strange that 1 program finds it but the others dont...

please help
