I have installed the SP2 tech preview, and I noticed the bluetooth
doesn't really work as well as its XP Pro SP2 counterpart.
I have a few USB dongles, When I first plug in my USB BT dongle. It
will come up and detect it properly (as microsoft, belkin, generic,
etc). The BT work properly I can transfer a file to the desktop
computer /w XPPro SP2.
But when I unplug this dongle and plug in a second USB dongle, it
cannot install the device driver for it. It will say access is
denied. This is a software problem. It doesn't matter which brand
the USB dongle is. Only the first dongle plugged in after FBA will
work and all others will be denied.
Also. After setting up a com port for bluetooth, access is also
denied in trying to remove it that mapping.
One more thing I noticed is in the network properties it will have a
bluetooth network icon but when you double click nothing happens, when
you try to bring up the properties you get an error message. Does
that mean that TCP over BT is not possible or not implemented, since
this applet does not work?
