Bluetooth headset for PPT presentations?

P

Pinkie

This isn't exactly a Powerpoint question, but I'm guessing somebody here
might have some experience with this...

When I'm presenting in front of a larger group, I'd like to amplify my voice
to save my throat from grief.

I've already got the laptop with a decent pair of speakers set up for the
video portion of my presentation.

So what I'd like to do is plug a Bluetooth dongle into the USB port of my
laptop, and utilize a Bluetooth cell-phone style headset, using the laptop
and speakers in lieu of a conventional wireless mic & amplifier setup.

I've searched around the web with all the different descriptions of this
setup I can think of, and can't find any reference to it -- either successful
or unsuccessful.

Has anybody here given this a shot? It seems as though it *ought* to work
without too much trouble, and without a huge expense.
