I use a MS Bluetooth Explorer mouse with my WinXP Pro SP2 Dell Inspiron
8600 (2 year old) laptop with built-in bluetooth card ("Dell TrueMobile
Bluetooth Module") ... and it works pretty good. Recently I bought a
bluetooth headset by Cables Unlimited ... and it was pretty easy to
recognize and pair to the Inspiron (with some quirks in the audio of the
Inspiron ... but I digress).
Anyway, the bluetooth headset kills the bluetooth mouse. Doing a "discovery"
of the mouse gets a window to popup telling me that I have to disable
bluetooth audio, as it will interfere with the bluetooth mouse ?? !@#$%^&*
What the f***k !!!
What kind of IP stack or whatever does bluetooth use that it would not allow
these two devices to operate at the same time ??
Thanks for any tips !
