Bluescreen of death

I installed the driver for my sony handycam and my system started to act strange. I rebooted and got a bsod. I can't get to safe mode because my machine keeps resetting. Was it the software or do I have a virus?

I forgot to add that the bsod has an error code of 00000051 and I installed the driver for a Sony Digital 8 handycam
