installed small business server 2003, great little bit of software, however,
after taking my blue yonder broadband off my laptop, and trying to get it
onto the new server, i started having problems. I have powered off the modem
for over 2 mins and let it reset, connected it all up, my network cards are
being seen, however my dhcp is not configured and haven't figured out how to
yet. But the strange one is when i run the software for blueyonder when it
diagnoses the system it wont let me go any further than the diagnosis as it
says my oporating system is not new enough? it needs to be 98 or higher?
I am attempting to put my modem directly into the server, then routing it
from the server to a hub and onto my other 2 pcs,
Am i right in assuming the network connection directly to the modem is
static and to the network card that goes to the hub be dynamic? that is how i
have it, basically because it wont allow me to do it the other way.
Any help much appreciated

have two network cards in server and plug your BY in one
and configure the card for DHCP enabled plugged the other card into the hub
along
and connected to laptop But when I run the internet
connection wizard getting an error message popping up

the wizard cannot set the DHCP scope options, ensure that the DHCP server
service is running and that a scope is defined. Alternatively, disable the
DHCP service manually, and then configure your client computer IP
properties.
