Blue screens of death...

ok, its weird problem whitch is becoming aggravating
It mostly happens when i play games, started about a week ago. I mainly played game Spellforce, and game started to quit to desktop with some access violation messages, with slowly increasing frequency rate
Few days ago i tried to intall and play few other games and lo, i started getting those blue screens. Today i installed sisoft sandra and while making benchmarks there i got blue screen too. Blue screens go along with memory errors (couldn't write to or something like that) Now last 2 blue screens i got had code
stop 0x00000050 (PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA), and
stop 0x0000008E (not sure)

Now as i try to think what i installed lately, that could have caused it, it would be latest ATI drivers (though i'm not sure if i installed them stictly before or after it started, but around that time) and latest windows updates..

Any advices?

The two bugcheck codes you mentioned 8E and 50 are probably video related.
If you send me the minidumps files located at c:\windows\minidump to
(e-mail address removed) I will look into your problem(s).

I'm running into those similar problems. I'm not playing
games, though. Now that you mention it, I also just
updated my ATI Driver. I'm finding that when I run a
virus scan with Avast AV that it will crash. Someone else
suggested this site, http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm .
I guess I'll check out Avast forums also.

If problems after ATI Driver update, roll back the driver.
Was this a winupdate driver or from ATI site.? I wouldn't recommend Drivers
from WinUpD. use the hardware manu.site
